Five years ago, on a rainy night in Sicily, assassin Seraphina was ambushed and cornered. She was entangled by Leonardo, a Mafia don who had been drugged, and lost her cross-star pendant in the chaos. Five years later, she has gone into hiding, living in seclusion, running a small clinic in the slums and raising a pair of clever twins on her own. The children hack into the Mafia system to raise money, but are unfortunately captured by Leonardo's men.
