After spending his life savings supporting his daughter’s family, retired teacher Gordon Carter asks for nothing in return. Yet a cheap box of loquats becomes the final straw, exposing their cruelty and ingratitude. Abandoned when he falls seriously ill, Gordon finally walks away from the family he gave everything to. Choosing himself for the first time, he embraces a new life, finds love again, and proves it’s never too late to start over.
